For all antivirus users
We keep detecting that some antivirus programs are giving false positives of viruses on files that are installed with our software. CYPE's development department has been in contact with the support department of these antivirus programs on more than one occasion so that these false positives can be corrected as soon as possible.
As more and more of our software users are reporting these issues to us and the problem seems to be getting worse, we recommend that any CYPE users with this problem read and follow the steps outlined in the CYPE FAQ:
- After installing or running CYPE programs, the following type of error appears: “Expression: res != 0 — File: ____.c (____.DLL) ……….”
However, we also recommend contacting the support department of your antivirus program in order to report this issue.
