In CYPE 3D, node ties can be assigned and removed like this. Node ties are used to ensure that two or more nodes have equal displacements in all design loadcases. In order to do so, there must be some element or constructive layout in the real structure that effectively materialises the equality of displacements, even if it is not drawn in the model.
