The following error “The bar in tension is not associated to a completely braced frame” may appear over elements defined as “Tie” in StruBIM CYPE 3D placed on an incomplete bar structure that the program cannot recognise as a braced frame:
To avoid this error, the geometry of the bars to which the tie is linked must be checked in order for it to be interpreted as a braced frame. To do this, please check the following link to see the program’s conditions for identifying a braced frame.
