The following warning may appear when importing BIM models into CYPE thermal and acoustic study programs, such as CYPETHERM EPlus:
The selected file does not include the description of the space limits, hence it cannot be imported.
To fix the error, the Open BIM Analytical Model file shall be selected as the initiator instead of the architectural model file generated with CYPE Architecture or any other modelling program.
Therefore, if not carried out already, Open BIM Analytical Model will have to be used as a preliminary step before importing from the thermal or acoustic study programs. See the following link for more information on the workflow.
Please note that there is no need to use Open BIM Analytical Model if the model is created in IFC Builder. In this case, directly select the IFC Builder file as the initiator.
