A 3D view of the structure with all the entities that CYPECAD reads from the IFC file appears under the list of elements in the "Columns", "Floor slabs" and "Building elements" sections of the assistant for automatically inserting IFC files.
Elements that can be activated depending on the section
- Columns: columns (IFCCOLUMN).
- Slabs: slab and roof elements (IFCSLAB and IFCROOF).
- Roofs: roof-type elements (IFCROOF).
- Footings: footings (IFCPADFOOTING).
- Footing beams: footing beams (IFCFOOTINGBEAM).
- Building elements: wall and partition-type elements (IFCWALL and IFCWALLSTANDARCASE).
Meaning of colours in the 3D view
Colours are used to distinguish between the selected element, the other elements in the current section, and elements from other sections.
Elements selected (in the current section)
- Intense, opaque red: element marked for import into CYPECAD
- Light, transparent red: element not marked for import
Elements not selected (in the current section)
- Orange, opaque: elements marked for import
- Light grey, transparent: elements not marked for import
Elements from other sections of the wizard
- Light grey, transparent: elements enabled for import
- Not displayed: elements not enabled for import
