La rehabilitación de edificios y más concretamente la eliminación de barreras arquitectónicas, son proyectos muy demandados por los promotores y comunidades de propietarios, en gran medida como consecuencia de la aparición de la Ley 8/2013 de Rehabilitación regeneración y renovación urbanas (BOE de 27/06/2013) que tiene como objetivo, potenciar la rehabilitación edificatoria y la eliminación de barreras existentes, creando en su caso los mecanismos específicos que hagan posible su viabilidad.
