Thermal load calculation of buildings according to the Radiant Time Series Method (RTSM)

Join us for this webinar where we'll explain how to estimate building thermal loads using the Radiant Time Series Method (RTSM), as proposed by ASHRAE, using the BIM program CYPETHERM LOADS.

CYPETHERM LOADS allows you to calculate the thermal load of buildings according to the Radiant Time Series Method (RTSM). The RTSM, recommended by the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE) for calculating cooling loads and detailed in the 2010 Load Calculation Applications Manual, is the most widely used method for estimating thermal loads.

The use of CYPETHERM LOADS has many benefits. As it is a method for calculating thermal loads that optimises data input from the import of BIM models, it facilitates the analysis and understanding of the results by the designer through different reports, which, together with its accuracy, speed and reduced software requirements, makes it a perfect method for improving building design.

Highlights of the presentation:

  • Introduction to CYPETHERM LOADS
  • Understanding the Radiant Time Series Method (RTSM) proposed by ASHRAE
  • Importing the BIM model developed in IFC
  • Characterising building elements
  • Defining climate data
  • Calculating cooling and heating loads
  • Obtaining results reports
  • Integrating CYPETHERM LOADS with other BIM tools

Don't miss the opportunity to improve your knowledge of building thermal load analysis and explore the features of CYPETHERM LOADS in this informative and practical webinar.
