On 17 April, we will be holding an online presentation in which electrical engineering and architecture professionals will have the opportunity to learn about the different possibilities offered by Building Information Modelling (BIM) for designing electrical installations.
During this session, we will discuss different aspects of BIM, highlighting the fundamental role of the software developed by CYPE in this field. We will be presenting the following programs at the event:
BIM MODELLING OF ELECTRICAL INSTALLATIONS
CYPELEC Electrical Mechanism: architectural modelling of terminal elements in electrical and telecommunications systems (switches, sockets and audiovisual and telephony connectors).
CYPELEC Distribution: 3D implantation of the distribution of circuits and loads for electrical installation projects.
ANALYSING ELECTRICAL INSTALLATIONS
CYPELEC CORE: analysing low voltage electrical installations.
CYPELEC Grounding IEC: design of grounding installations in accordance with the IEC 60364-5-54 code
CYPELEC Grounding IEE: design of grounding installations in accordance with the IEEE Std 80 – 2000 code.
Open BIM Switchboard: design of the enclosures in electrical systems (cabinets, panels and switchboards).
PHOTOVOLTAIC SYSTEMS
CYPELEC PV SYSTEMS: design of on-grid photovoltaic systems (amongst which are self-consumption installations) or off-grid photovoltaic systems.
INTEGRATING THE INSTALLATION INTO THE ARCHITECTURAL MODEL
Open BIM Cable Routing: BIM modelling of cable routing systems.
CYPE Architecture: 3D architectural modelling program, specifically designed for multidisciplinary collaboration.
Plugin Open BIM – Revit: Add-in to integrate Revit into the Open BIM workflow using the IFC standard. As a result of the Open BIM integration, projects can be stored and synchronised in the cloud via the BIMserver.center platform.
