New modules for piles in CYPECAD and CYPE 3D: structural check and lateral stability analysis

More information:

During this session, there will be an exclusive presentation of the new modules for reinforced concrete piles that we have incorporated in CYPECAD and CYPE 3D.

The previous version included the Piles I module and now, with the launch of the new CYPE version 2025.d, we are extending the design and analysis capabilities of deep foundations using pile caps with the new Piles II and Piles III modules.

Highlights of the presentation:
-Piles I: verifies the bearing capacity of reinforced concrete piles, considering the characteristics of the soil and the pile itself.
-Piles II: defines and checks the reinforcement of the pile against the analysed forces.
-Piles III: analyses the lateral stability under horizontal or seismic loads thanks to the use of the OpenSees© analysis engine.
