A valid volume must be defined for the space

Users may see the following warning in Open BIM Analytical Model:

A valid volume must be defined for the space.

To solve this problem, it is important to ensure that spaces with a certain floor area and a certain height value have been entered, so that the volume value is computed.

The volume may be zero, thus causing the problem, if the space has been entered manually or if it has come from a model made with other architectural modelling technologies. In the latter case, make sure that the IFC file that was generated with them meets the following requirements. If it has been taken from Revit, please consider the recommendations mentioned in the CYPE-Revit Interoperability Guide.
