The evaluation version of CYPE programs has changed its operating mode as of June 2025, with the release of version 2026.a; it is no longer freely accessible nor usable for 10 non-consecutive days. Now, the installation of the program is single, and an evaluation license can be requested, which requires registration with a username and password and is granted for a period of 30 calendar days. An evaluation license can be requested here.
In version 2026.b, anti-piracy measures have been implemented and, as a side effect, projects saved with evaluation versions prior to 2026.b that cannot be identified are blocked.
This does not pose a problem for all projects started with an evaluation license 2026.b or later, as they can be opened using professional licenses 2026.b and later.
At CYPE’s Technical Department, we handle requests from clients who have used an evaluation version prior to 2026.b for their project and have attempted to open it with a professional version 2026.b or later. We first verify that it has not been used with any pirated version. We then process their unlocking request and, if confirmed, return the unlocked file within 24 to 48 working hours.
Therefore, if this occurs and the file originates from an evaluation version, it can be sent to support@cype.com or soporte@cype.com, indicating the professional license number of the client wishing to open that file with version 2026.b or later. If the file has been pirated, unfortunately, the project cannot be unlocked.
