CYPECAD allows users to create walls that start on a beam or floor slab.
To do this, once you have chosen the type of wall you wish to enter ("Reinforced concrete wall", "Reinforced concrete block wall" or "Masonry wall"), a window will open in which you can set the height of the wall, as well as the floors on which it starts and ends. In this example, the foundation of the wall will be set as "Other structural support", which means that the wall starts directly on the floor slab or on a beam. You can then specify the depth of the beam on which the wall is supported.
