Blocking projects that have gone through evaluation versions prior to 2026.b

The evaluation version of CYPE’s software programs has changed the way it works since June 2025, with the release of version 2026.a. It is no longer freely accessible, nor can it be used for 10 non-consecutive days. Now, the program can only be installed once, and you can apply for an evaluation license, which requires registration with a username and password, and is granted for a period of 30 calendar days. You can apply for an evaluation licence here.

Anti-piracy measures have been implemented in version 2026.b, and, as a result, projects saved using evaluation versions prior to 2026.b that cannot be identified are blocked.

This will not be a problem for any projects started with a 2026.b evaluation license or later, as they can be opened using professional licences 2026.b and later.

CYPE’s Technical Department handles requests from clients who have used an evaluation version prior to 2026.b on their project and have attempted to open it with a professional version 2026.b or later, having first verified that it has not been used with a pirated version. Following this, the department processes the unlock request and, if confirmed, returns the unlocked file within 24 to 48 working hours.

Therefore, if this occurs and the file originates from a trial version, you can send the file to support@cype.com or soporte@cype.com, stating the professional license number with which you wish to open the file using version 2026.b or later. If the file has been pirated, unfortunately, the project cannot be unblocked.
