The following error may appear when trying to work with the Campus Version, the Temporary License Version or the Evaluation Version:
The hardware lock that is connected to the port is incorrect for this application. Disconnect it and connect the appropriate hardlock in its place.
However, these versions do not require a hardware lock. This may happen because the CYPE server is temporarily down and a connection could not be established. When this happens, you can try to open the program later on. If the problem persists, make sure that you have a permanent Internet connection and the following:
- If you have version 2023.e or earlier, ports 30333 and 30334 of your router or FireWall must be open, or port 995 if you are using the Campus Version.
- If you have version 2023.f or later, port 443 must be open.
