The error is due to the internal file structure of the CYPE program being corrupted due to the use of user-modified copies of the program (http://crack.en.cype.com/).
The problem occurs when using modified copies, but once it has occurred, it affects both the modified copy and any legal licenses that may be installed on the same computer.
To solve this problem, follow the steps below:
- Uninstall any modified copies, especially version 2013.a and subsequent versions.
- Reinstall the original program.
