Description

This course focuses on steel detailing using the StruBIM Steel tool. The course will provide you with the essential skills for working with the program, focusing on the main workflows supported by the program, structural and connection modelling tools, generating detailing drawings, exporting for fabrication, and generating lists of materials.

Requirements

To optimise your training time, please bring your personal laptop with the programs already installed. To do so:

  1. Your system must meet the minimum requirements for running CYPE programs: Minimum requirements.
  2. Register on the free BIMserver.center platform and download and install the latest version of StruBIM Steel. If you plan to use a "Temporary License Version", choose this option in the installation process and enter the key provided.

  4. Confirm that each program opens correctly and access any of the example jobs: How to access example jobs.
